Create Professional-Sounding Podcasts
Whether you're taking your first step into podcasting or upgrading your recording setup, the Zoom ZDM-1 Podcast Mic Pack gives you the essential tools to capture professional-quality spoken-word audio. The kit combines the ZDM-1 large-diaphragm dynamic microphone with ZHP-1 closed-back headphones, a TPS-4 tabletop tripod, a custom microphone windscreen, and a 2-meter XLR cable, making it an ideal recording package for podcasts, interviews, livestreams, voiceovers, and other content creation with a Zoom recorder or compatible audio interface.
Broadcast-Quality Dynamic Microphone
The ZDM-1 features a large-diaphragm dynamic microphone capsule with a supercardioid polar pattern designed to deliver smooth, focused vocal capture. Its 50 Hz–18 kHz frequency response and 135 dB maximum SPL provide the range and headroom needed for clear, detailed spoken-word recordings, while the dynamic design makes it well suited to close-mic podcasting and vocal applications.
Built for a Professional XLR Workflow
With a standard XLRM connector and 200 Ω output impedance, the ZDM-1 integrates easily with compatible Zoom recorders, mixers, and audio interfaces. The included 2-meter XLR microphone cable means you can connect the microphone and start recording without purchasing an additional cable.
Monitor Every Detail
The included ZHP-1 professional closed-back headphones provide detailed monitoring while you record and edit. Featuring 40 mm neodymium drivers, a 10 Hz–20 kHz frequency response, and 68 Ω rated impedance, the ZHP-1 gives you a dedicated monitoring solution for your podcast setup. The single-sided 3-meter cable provides plenty of reach around a desktop recording environment.
A Complete Desktop Recording Setup
The TPS-4 tabletop tripod provides a compact and sturdy way to position the ZDM-1 on your desk, while the custom windscreen helps maintain clean vocal recordings. Together with the included XLR cable and headphones, the ZDM-1 Podcast Mic Pack gives you the core equipment needed to build a professional podcast recording setup around your Zoom recorder or compatible audio equipment.
