New PD-14DSX Digital Snare
A major upgrade for the VAD516 is the inclusion of the PD-14DSX Digital Snare. Unlike standard electronic snares, this pad features a working throw-off lever and tension knob. This allows you to physically adjust the virtual snare wire response—tighten it for a crisp, articulate crack, or drop the wires completely for a tom-like sound. Combined with Roland's multi-sensor digital triggering, it offers unmatched sensitivity for cross-sticks, rim shots, and ghost notes.
