Precision Direct-Drive Performance
At the core of the TURN5 is a brushless, direct-drive DC motor that ensures powerful torque and incredibly consistent rotation. The integrated motor control allows you to conveniently select between 33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM using the top-mounted controls, making it versatile enough to play everything from modern LPs to vintage shellac records (with a suitable mono cartridge). The die-cast aluminum platter is precision-machined for perfect balance and features a dampening rubber base and a 5mm rubber mat to eliminate resonance and vibration.
Advanced Tonearm and Cartridge
The turntable utilizes a statically balanced S-shaped tonearm, complete with hydraulic lift and anti-skating settings. Crucially, it features vertical tracking angle (VTA) adjustment with a locking mechanism, allowing for precise height calibration to guarantee optimum cartridge performance. The universal SME locking mechanism makes headshell exchanges quick and easy. To ensure phenomenal sound quality right out of the box, the TURN5 comes pre-mounted with the acclaimed Ortofon 2M Red cartridge, known for its precise elliptical cut.

Built like a tank, the TURN5 features an especially heavy metal construction and a rigid cabinet design with shock-resistant feet for effective decoupling. Visually, it stuns with a deep black piano finish and a fully gold-anodized platter. The rear panel houses gold-plated RCA phono outputs with a separate earth connection, all recessed in a sunk-in terminal cavity to protect the detachable cables.
