The BASSBOSS Sublim8 redefines the capabilities of the portable column PA. Unlike typical column systems that rely on small drivers for low-mid frequencies, the Sublim8 is a fully realized 3-way active system built on a massive foundation. It stacks a dedicated mid-high top cabinet and a spacing column atop a powerful 18-inch subwoofer. The result is a system that delivers the sleek aesthetic and wide dispersion of a column array but with the visceral punch, deep bass extension (down to 35Hz), and midrange clarity of a tour-grade point source system.

Uncompromised 3-Way Design

The sonic signature of the Sublim8 is driven by premium components. The low end is handled by a neodymium 18-inch subwoofer with a 4-inch voice coil, delivering earth-shaking bass that allows the system to perform without needing extra subs. The mid-frequencies are produced by dual 8-inch neodymium woofers, providing the "chest punch" often missing from column speakers. Finally, a 3-inch diaphragm compression driver on an isophasic waveguide delivers crystal-clear highs with a 120° x 20° dispersion pattern, ensuring wide coverage across the audience while minimizing ceiling and floor reflections.

Driven by a 4000W Class D amplifier platform (2400W LF + 800W MF + 800W HF), the Sublim8 manages its immense power via integrated high-resolution 96kHz DSP. This system includes 8 onboard presets for instant optimization, handling everything from phase alignment to multi-stage limiting. BASSBOSS prioritizes real-world acoustic performance over theoretical wattage, ensuring that every watt translates into usable, distortion-free sound pressure levels up to 133 dB.

Tour-Ready Modularity

The Sublim8 is designed for the working professional. The system breaks down into three interlocking sections—Sub, Spacer, and Top—making transport manageable for a single operator. The cabinets are constructed from CNC-machined birch plywood with a rugged, waterproof high-pressure polyurea coating. With IP65-rated Neutrik powerCON True 1 TOP connectors and a hydrophobic steel grille, the Sublim8 is built to withstand outdoor events and unpredictable weather.
