It houses a proprietary DAS 8FW 8-inch transducer with a 2-inch voice coil, capable of handling 200 W RMS (800 W Peak) with a maximum SPL of 118 dB. The bass-reflex design extends the frequency response down to 50 Hz, adding warmth and weight to background music and multimedia presentations without muddying the soundscape.

Installation Versatility

The Q-8 is engineered for professional integration. The enclosure is constructed from premium birch plywood—a step up from the plastic or MDF found in many compact subs—and coated in a durable ISO-flex finish. It features 12 M10 rigging points, allowing for flexible suspension or mounting using the optional AXU-Q8 accessory. For a clean, tamper-resistant installation, audio connections are made via secure covered barrier strip terminals.
