The Sennheiser EW-DX SK / SKM-S Base Set provides a flexible foundation for professional digital wireless audio. This package includes a 2-channel EW-DX EM 2 receiver, one SKM-S handheld transmitter (with programmable mute switch), and one SK bodypack transmitter. Designed for integrators and production professionals who require specific microphone characteristics, this "Base Set" allows you to pair the transmitters with your choice of Sennheiser or Neumann capsules and lavalier or headset microphones (sold separately).
Wide Dynamic Range & Intelligent Networking
The EW-DX system utilizes the proprietary Sennheiser Performance Audio Codec (SePAC) to deliver an ultra-low latency of 1.9 ms and a massive 134 dB input dynamic range. This eliminates the need to set gain sensitivity on the transmitters entirely—handling everything from a whisper to a scream without distortion. The system is network-ready for integration with Sennheiser Control Cockpit, Wireless Systems Manager, and 3rd-party media control systems, and features AutoScan technology to automatically deploy equidistant frequencies for rock-solid RF stability.
