Innovative "Pre-Assembled" Mounting System

Electro-Voice has engineered the EVID-S series for unparalleled ease of installation. The unit ships with a unique, pre-assembled mounting system that is ready to go right out of the box, significantly reducing labor time on the job site. Once installed, the bracket offers flexible positioning with 90 degrees of horizontal rotation and 45 degrees of vertical rotation, allowing you to aim the sound precisely where it is needed on walls or ceilings.

Versatile 70V/100V Operation

The "T" in EVID-S8.2T stands for its versatile internal transformer. The speaker utilizes a 60W transformer with a convenient rear-panel switch for selecting power taps (7.5W, 15W, 30W, or 60W) for 70V/100V distributed systems. It also features an 8-ohm bypass mode for low-impedance operation, giving integrators maximum flexibility in system design.
