IP65 RGBL Wash with Electronic Frost

The Chauvet Professional COLORado Solo Pod E is a versatile, IP65-rated wash fixture designed to be the workhorse of any outdoor lighting rig. Powered by 12 high-output RGBL (Red, Green, Blue, Lime) LEDs, it delivers over 8,000 lumens of rich, saturated color. Its defining feature is the Variable Electronic Frost, which allows you to instantly diffuse the beam from a tight 17° spot to a wide 54° wash via DMX, eliminating the need for swapping filters or mechanical zoom noise.

Advanced Color & Control

The addition of the Lime emitter ensures superior white light quality and a high CRI of nearly 84, making the Solo Pod E excellent for lighting talent as well as scenery. It features selectable dimming curves and PWM frequencies (up to 25,000 Hz) for flicker-free operation on camera. With its fan-less convection cooling (implied by the silence and housing design common in this series, though specifically robust aluminum here), it operates quietly in studio environments.

Rugged Tour-Ready Design

Built to withstand the elements, the Solo Pod E features a durable aluminum housing with an IP65 rating, complete with pressure-equalizing GORE valves. It uses industry-standard Seetronic Powerkon IP65 connectors and IP-rated 5-pin DMX ports. The versatile mounting system allows for traditional clamping, quick-connect Omega brackets, or use as a floor package with its split yoke.
